Construction 4.0 will bring a major digital revolution in the construction industry and we are ready for it.
We have developed a suite of digital tools for improving construction industry.
These tools can reduce design errors, improve design collaboration while avoiding costly design changes and reworks during construction. They can also help build right first time and avoid wastage and improve construction quality on site. Using technology like BIM allows for proper information transfer from the design and construction team to the O&M team. Asset management and O&M can also be performed on a BIM model. Virtual and Augmented Reality services in our VR lab allow clients and designers immerse in a full scale virtual model and resolve clashes and design errors. We propose AR tools using mobile devices to visualise complex installations and their BIM models on site.
BIM and BIM Management
We have extensive experience customising workflows on CDE to better manage BIM at both design and construction stage. The key benefit of using a common data environment (CDE) is that all project stakeholders have access to the same cloud-based platform, allowing them to collaborate on BIM models, upload and access documents, assign tasks and track progress. Choosing the right CDE and customising it to serve the project best is essential. A proper BIM Management approach is crucial when using a CDE. At Prodesign, we work with a couple of CDEs which we have selected to suit our clients requirements while taking into account their budget. We work with a CDE which fully integrates BIM and clash detection.
